Ingredients:

For the Fish:

2 white fish fillets (cod, tilapia or halibut)

1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil spray

        ½ teaspoon paprika

        ½ teaspoon garlic powder

        ½ teaspoon chili powder

        ¼ teaspoon cumin

        Salt & pepper, to taste

        Juice of ½ lime

For the Toppings:

1 cup shredded cabbage or slaw mix

        ½ cup diced tomatoes

        ¼ cup chopped cilantro

        ¼ cup sliced red onion

        Lime wedges, for serving

For the Creamy Sauce:

2 tablespoons Greek yogurt or sour cream

        1 tablespoon mayonnaise

        1 teaspoon lime juice

        ½ teaspoon honey or agave

        Dash of hot sauce (optional)

Instructions:

1.      Preheat your Air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.

2.      Season fish: In one bowl, combine olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, and salt, pepper, and squeeze lime juice. Brush or rub onto both sides of the fish fillets.

3.      Air fry fish: Lay the fish in the basket (use parchment if needed). Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and flaky.

5.      Make tacos: Warm your tortillas, then layer with cabbage, flaked fish, tomatoes, red onion, and drizzle with the creamy sauce.

6.      Finish with freshness: Top with cilantro and a squeeze of lime. Serve immediately!

Tips to make the perfect air-fryer fish taco

Use a light spray of oil for extra crispy texture.

Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket. Air circulation = crunchy!

Try corn tortillas for a more authentic touch or low-carb wraps for a healthier option.
