Air Fryer Small Whole Chicken Recipe

roast a dinner in under an hour!

Ingredients
• 1 small whole chicken:: about 3-4 lbs
• 1 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1 tsp salt
• ½ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp onion powder
• ½ dried thyme or rosemary: optional
• Lemon slices or fresh herbs - optional to
garnish.
Instructions
1. Prep the Chicken
• Dry with paper towels. For crispy skin,
this is very important, using that step.
• Apply to all sides: olive oil or melted
butter.
• Rub seasoning all over using a mixture of
garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and herbs.
2. Preheat air fryer
• Set at 360°F (180°C), preheat for 3
minutes.
3. Cook the Chicken
• Place the chicken breast side down in the
air fryer basket.
• 30 minutes into cooking, the chicken
should be flipped over and cooked for an additional 20 to 25 minutes, until the
thickest part of the breast reaches an average internal temperature of 165 °F
(74 °C ).
4. Rest and Serve
• Let it rest 5 to 10 minutes before
carving.
• Serve with roasted veggies, mashed
potatoes, or a fresh salad.
